Still have your party hats on? Still have room for cake? We hope so!

Wow! What an amazing response we had to our topic of conversation yesterday. I must admit, my brain was a little fuzzy yesterday morning, and I forgot to mention that our ‘conversation’ random winners will be announced during our on-line crop on Friday night. So you have until 5PM, MST on Friday to add your 2 cents to all of the daily questions for your chance to win one of the daily fabulous prizes! Really. Does it get any better than that? A week long of giveaways? Yeah. I didn’t think so either!

Well, let’s not delay any further then!

How about a little question to get your minds whirling. This is sort of a sticky subject, but we are going to ask it anyway!

What is your favorite adhesive and why?

Me? Want to know the truth? It’s whatever I can reach! LOL! If I have to go out and purchase adhesive however, I find myself time and time again reaching for the ‘Scrapbook Adhesives, Click ‘n Stick’ mounting squares by 3L in the disposable dispenser box. I prefer the clear ones because then if there is a little edge poking out from beneath my project you can’t tell. However, for ‘stick’ purposes, the We R Memory Keepers Tab Dispensers are my favorite. I guess I tend to be a bit of a lazy gal though, and don’t always want to be bothered with having to refill a dispenser. Cause let’s face it…when you gotta stick, you gotta stick!

Okay, so you didn’t have enough scrapping with yesterday’s challenge? Well then…..SKETCH THIS! I admit it. I HAVE to sketch. I can’t just sit down with paper and my trimmer and create. I have to have a plan in place, or let’s face it….one layout will easily take me, ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, 4 hours. Yeah. I’m not kidding either. Sad isn’t it?

I don’t know if you ever need that plan put in place, but I have done the hard work for you and here is the blueprint! Use this sketch to create a layout about whatever strikes your fancy!

I admit I’m a bit of a flower addict, so if you don’t want a flower where it’s shown, simply adapt it to another embellishment of your choice!

I LOVE glue dots! I like that they come in multiple sizes, and that they always keep everything right in place. I never have to worry about things shifting around on me!

I love the dots and squares from American Crafts, and the Glue Glider Pro I also like Xyron’s glue dispenser… But it’s hard to find refills sometimes.

I like glue dots and adhesive runners. I’m still experimenting with runners to see what I like…it seems like they either don’t work reliably or the refills run out too quickly so I look forward to seeing what everyone is using. I’d have to say my FAVORITE right now is my Xyron. Love that thing! I’m trying to make space so that I can have them in every size!

I love Fiskars Adhesive — it rolls on smooth and doesn’t get all “sticky” and stuck when getting towards the end of the tape. When I can’t find Fiskars I have been using Glue glider pro.

I usually use the old school 3L mounting squares – they’re easy. But for dimension, I love zots! (But I’ve learned not to use them on, say, a wreath that would be going on my front door, as they MELT in the summer heat … )

I like the Tombow Mono Adhesive Dots that come in the longer 49ft. I like the shape of the roller it fits in the hand better than the smaller tombow. I also like the dot runners better because it seems like there are less times hen the adhesive gets messed up on the roller.

I also use Scrapbook Adhesives, but to be honest I haven’t tried anything else except double-sided tape (which works great on my larger pieces). Thanks for asking this question because I’d like to know everyone else’s favorites.

I use adhesive squares for almost everything…but I like Zots clear adhesive dots when I want to add a craft button or other embellishments easily.

I love the 3M tape gun. It is actually made for picture framing, but works great for scrapbooking and comes with a lot more tape in a roll than anyothers I have found.

Love Memory Book Glue Dots/Strips. The dots tend to be on the thick side so they’re not great for the more delicate parts but the strips are easily cut to size so between these two, gluing is a dream!
Oh and the readjustable/removable ones are perfect for first time scrapbookers
Convenient and easy to use…loves it!

I am not a glue snob, but I do like Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive and Glue Dots. They seem to work the way I work .

I usually use mounting squares to adhere my pictures and some paper/embellishments. I don’t have a favorite brand, just whatever is handy! I also like zots glue dots for things like chipboard, buttons, ribbon, etc.

I used to use the glue glider pro tape runner but have since graduated to a full on framers tape runner. Mine is an off brand and not a Scotch/3M. Works like a charm and totally worth the $ I spent. Got it from findtape.com. LOVE it.

I have gone through so many adhesives through the years. But have found my favorites, Score Tape and Zots I love them! I never have to worry about my pages falling apart over time it’s the best stuff ever!

i dont have a favorite. I use a gluestick, tabs and just recently discovered glue dots. when im at the store picking something out, im bad and usually pick the thing that is the cutest at the moment!

My fave adhesive is Kokoyo dot ‘n’ roller adhesive…..no longer available boohoo!!! Good thing I stocked up beforehand…. I purchased an ATG gun for when I have depleted my stash – we’ll see how that measures up!!!

Double-sided tape runners are great. then I don’t have to peel and stick anything I just put down a swipe of tape and stick! For craft stuff I am still a glue gun girl.

I’m a huge fan of rollers! BUT, I cam across some extra large glue dots that I’m loving lately and I can’t resist a sticky double sided foam block adhesive to raise a picture here and there.

I use glue sticks right now (photo glue ones from Hobby Lobby), but they don’t work great on textured paper. I want to try something else, but I haven’t just yet…

So far in my scrapbooking, I have used gluesticks, double sided tape, mounting squares from the dollar store, and glue dots.

Of those, my favourite is the glue dots, but the dollar store mounting squares are (surprisingly) pretty good too!

I love the Tombow mono adhesive, but I stocked up on the We R Memory Keepers adhesive square from SS & am loving them just as much. It’s always good to have a few go-to items! Also if I really need something to stick I use the red Tacky Tape. That stuff is serious!

I guess it depends! For everyday paper adhering I like the cm tape runner. For serious embellishments I’m all about glue dots.

For embellishments like buttons or ribbon, I use glue dots, for pictures I typically use mounting squares, and for smaller items (like smaller Pebbles Chips) I use the glue pen by ZIG. They all seem to work really well for me!

I always use Scrapbook Adhesives E-Z Runner with the strips, not with the tabs (which used to be my favourite). Glue dots are great for things other than paper or pictures.

I love the creative memories tape runner. It goes on very smoothly and is easy to refill. There used to be a mini one that I liked a lot for those skinny and tiny embellishments- not sure if they still have it though.

I am SO oldfashioned. I couldn’t figure out how to get the little dispensers to work correct so I “stick” to the basic corner squares…the old school kind that you have to take off the roll, stick them on to your photo/paper/etc, and then pull off the little paper tab. I know, it’s a pain, but I guess I’m not great at change and they work for me!

I love my CM double sided tape runner, too … and it doesn’t take very long to refill. For other crafty projects and cards, I use my We R Memory Keepers Tab Dispensers (thanks SS!!!) … because my 3-year-old son usually “helps” me and he loves to roll the tabs out and stick them on!

I love mini glue dots, So convienient and you don’t have to worry about dispensers and refills and such, just a roll of sticky dots, that hold everything. I have lots of other adhesives but they are my standard and I always end up using them.

I am an ATG girl. It’s big, bulky and yellow, but it holds like a charm and it’s easy to use. Biggest drawback is it’s hard to find the refills…but I don’t think I’ll ever go back to little glue runners again.

I have several favorites depending on what crafting I am doing. I love the Zig 2-way glue pens, pop dots when I want to add dimension, and zip dry glue. I have several different tape runners, but I hate having to refill them as well. I like to just be able to pick it up and be done.

I like the Glue Glider, the dot hermafix, and glue dots, depending on what I’m doing. I used to use the Kokuyo kind, exclusively, but those have been discontinued in the US and are very hard to find anymore

Granted, I haven’t used too many different kinds of adhesive’s I like the Scotch permanent photo splits that I use. I haven’t had any problems with them sticking and they are pretty inexpensive. I also like the glue dots, don’t remember the brand, but you can buy them in small or big.

I adore Sookwang tape on the roll. It comes in tons of different widths, doesn’t show through ribbon, can be removed with heat gun or Un-do, and is cheap like borscht.

Depends on what I’m gluing…I have a liquid for cardstock, zig glue pen for cricut cut outs, photo squares for pictures. I love pop dots too!

My favorites are Herma fix tabs & dots, xyron for my cut outs and especially for ribbon, carpet tape for extra duty tape, foam and glue dots.

I love the foam pop dots — great for card making! — and the mounting squares. I use mounting squares for everything, including repairs on my daughter’s lift-the-flap books!

My favorite adhesive is by far Click n Stick! They are SO easy to use and there is no mess! If I do not line it up right and it ends up sticking out the side of a picture or something I just fold it over. Love the stuff!

I just started scrapbooking recently and my style is more of a photo album so I really like using the sticky photo corners to hold pics as well as slightly thicker items.

I have always used the Creative Memories Tape Runner. It has always served me well and is easy enough for my daughter to use. But after seeing all of the other great products people have tried I am going to search them out at my LSS.

I’ll be honest…I love tabs and always will, BUT I recently discovered (thanks to the ladies on this fan page) glue dots! I. Love. Them. Like. No. Other. Adhesive.

When I am working on a big project and need to use lots of adhesive, I grab my Zip Dry…it seems to go a long way than any of my adhesive tapes. But I also love glue dots to adhere any of those embellies that you want to make sure sticks!

I love Scor-tape, because it holds quite well and I love that you can rip it with your fingers, as my scissors are usually lost somewhere on my desk, and thats one less time I have to go hunting for them. After I hunt for the tape , of course… happy birthday!!

This is a super hard question since I use so many. I think I love Dotto (since I can rub off the extra) and the Scotch liquid glue. I also love the red double sided tape I get from Stampin’ Up.

Oh wait, I forgot my real answer. Stampin’ Dimensionals/foam dots!!! I have to have them on just about every project.
